Storyline: Weapons begins with several different stories happening at the same time. First, a young child mysteriously disappears in a suburban neighborhood. Consequently, the entire community begins a desperate search. Meanwhile, at a local high school, strange and terrifying events start to occur.

The stories seem separate at first. However, they are actually deeply connected. Therefore, the characters from these different plots slowly come together. For example, a teacher from the school joins the search for the missing child. Furthermore, a police officer investigating the disappearance starts seeing links to the high school.

Soon, they realize a sinister force is behind everything. This force might be supernatural, or perhaps something even stranger. Consequently, the characters must work together to understand the truth. They discover that their small town is hiding a very dark secret.

As they investigate, the horror grows. The strange events at the school become more dangerous. Meanwhile, the search for the child leads to frightening places. Finally, all the separate storylines collide in one terrifying night.

The characters must then face the evil together. They use their combined strength and knowledge to fight back. In the end, they might survive, but the true nature of the "weapons" in the title is revealed: sometimes the most powerful weapon is the truth, and it can be more dangerous than any monster.
