Storyline: First, a shocking message is sent across the galaxy. The evil Emperor Palpatine is somehow alive. As a result, the Resistance, led by General Leia, must stop his new fleet.

Meanwhile, Rey is finishing her Jedi training. However, she feels a dark pull inside her. Therefore, she, Finn, and Poe go on a mission to find the Emperor. For example, they travel to a dangerous desert and the wreckage of the Death Star.

At the same time, Kylo Ren is also looking for the Emperor. Eventually, he and Rey meet. He then tells her a big secret: she is the Emperor's granddaughter. Because of this, Rey is terrified she will turn to the dark side.

Finally, the good guys find the Emperor's hidden planet. Next, a huge space battle begins. Rey confronts Palpatine, but he is too strong. Then, something amazing happens. Kylo Ren turns good again, becoming Ben Solo. He helps Rey, but sadly, he gives his life to save hers.

In the end, with help from all the past Jedi, Rey defeats the Emperor for good. After that, there is peace in the galaxy. Later, on the planet Tatooine, Rey chooses a new last name to honor her heroes. She calls herself Rey Skywalker, and so the story ends with hope.
