Storyline: The Naked Gun follows Lieutenant Frank Drebin, a police officer who is not very smart. However, he is very confident.

First, Frank's partner is hurt by a criminal. Therefore, Frank becomes very determined to solve the case. He soon discovers a big plan. A bad guy named Vincent Ludwig wants to assassinate the Queen of England.

Meanwhile, Frank meets a beautiful woman named Jane. He immediately falls in love with her. But then, he learns something shocking. Jane is actually dating the evil Vincent Ludwig.

Consequently, Frank must work very hard. He needs to stop the assassination and also win Jane's heart. He follows many clues, but he causes a lot of funny accidents everywhere he goes. For example, he destroys an office and causes chaos at a shipyard.

Later, Frank learns the Queen will be at a baseball game. So, he goes there to protect her. During the game, he causes even more chaos. He falls down, tackles players, and even sets things on fire. But somehow, he accidentally stops the bad guys.

In the end, Frank becomes a hero. He also wins Jane's love. They get married in a very funny ceremony. Finally, Frank proves that even a clumsy and silly policeman can save the day and get the girl.
