Storyline: Mission: Impossible - Fallout begins immediately after the last movie. Ethan Hunt's team fails to capture three stolen plutonium bombs. Consequently, these bombs are now on the black market.

Therefore, the CIA forces Ethan to work with one of their agents, August Walker. Their mission is to buy the bombs back from terrorists. First, they go to Paris and meet a mysterious broker. However, the deal goes wrong, and a violent chase happens.

Meanwhile, Ethan's old enemy, Solomon Lane, escapes from prison. He is the leader of the terrorist group. Furthermore, he wants to use the bombs to destroy the world.

Next, Ethan learns he must find a man called the White Widow. She can lead him to the bombs. So, the team travels to London and then to Kashmir. There, they discover a shocking truth: August Walker is actually a traitor working for Lane.

Consequently, a huge fight happens. Ethan must chase Walker in a helicopter. At the same time, his friend Ilsa Faust fights Lane on the ground. They are racing against the clock because the bombs are about to explode.
