Storyline: Mission: Impossible II begins with Ethan Hunt on a relaxing vacation. However, his boss immediately contacts him with a new mission. A dangerous virus called Chimera has been stolen. Therefore, Ethan must find it before it is sold.

First, he needs to find a professional thief named Nyah. He believes she can lead him to the thief. So, he tracks her down and convinces her to help him. Meanwhile, they start to fall in love.

Next, they discover that the villain is Sean Ambrose. He is a former IMF agent who Ethan trained with. Sean wants to sell the virus for a huge amount of money. Consequently, Ethan must stop his old friend.

Ethan sends Nyah to work undercover with Sean's group. However, Sean soon realizes she is a spy. So, he injects her with the virus. Now, she will die unless she gets the antidote.

Therefore, Ethan must race against time. He needs to steal the antidote and also save Nyah. This leads to an exciting motorcycle chase. Then, they have a final fistfight on a beach.

In the end, Ethan defeats Sean and gets the antidote just in time. He saves Nyah's life. The mission is a success. Finally, they share a romantic moment, knowing their dangerous adventure is over.
