Storyline: Back to the Future begins with a teenager named Marty McFly. His friend is a wild inventor named Doc Brown. One night, Doc shows Marty his newest invention: a time machine built into a DeLorean car.

Suddenly, Libyan terrorists show up and shoot Doc. Marty quickly escapes in the DeLorean. Consequently, he accidentally travels back in time to 1955.

When he arrives, he immediately causes a big problem. He accidentally stops his teenage parents from meeting each other. Therefore, he might erase his own future existence.

So, Marty must find the younger Doc Brown to help him get back to 1985. Meanwhile, he also has to make sure his parents, George and Lorraine, fall in love. This is very difficult because his mother Lorraine starts to fall in love with Marty instead.

First, Marty convinces George to ask Lorraine out. Then, he helps Doc Brown prepare for a lightning strike to power the DeLorean. The plan is very dangerous because they need to hit the car with lightning at the exact right moment.

Finally, at the school dance, George bravely punches another boy who is bothering Lorraine. Consequently, they kiss and fall in love. Marty then races to the clock tower just in time for the lightning strike. He returns to 1985, where he finds his family is now much happier and more successful. Doc Brown suddenly appears, alive and well, and they go on another adventure.
