Storyline: The Terminator begins in the future. Machines have taken over the world. However, humans are fighting back. Their leader is a man named John Connor. Therefore, the machines decide to change the past. They send a deadly robot, called a Terminator, back to 1984.

It's mission is very simple. First, it must find a woman named Sarah Connor. Then, it must kill her. The reason is that Sarah Connor will one day become John's mother.

Meanwhile, the humans also send someone back. His name is Kyle Reese. He is a soldier. His job is to protect Sarah Connor.

At first, Sarah is just a normal woman. She has no idea about any of this. Suddenly, the Terminator starts killing other women named Sarah Connor. Consequently, the real Sarah becomes very scared and confused.

Fortunately, Kyle Reese finds her first. He explains everything to her. He tells her about the future war and the robot. So, Sarah and Kyle must work together to survive. They run and hide from the Terminator. During this time, they also fall in love.

The Machine, however, never stops hunting them. It follows them everywhere. Finally, they end up in a factory. A big, loud chase happens there. The Terminator is badly damaged, but it keeps coming.

In the end, Sarah crushes the robot in a machine. Kyle dies protecting her. However, he is successful. Sarah survives. Later, she learns she is pregnant. She will name her son John. Therefore, she must now prepare him for his future role as the saviour of humanity.
