Storyline: Iron Man 2 begins after Tony Stark has revealed his secret identity to the world. He is famous and powerful, but he faces new problems. First, the U.S. government wants his Iron Man technology. They say it is too dangerous for one person to control. Meanwhile, Tony is also getting sick. The device in his chest that keeps him alive is slowly poisoning him. Because of this, he starts acting recklessly and people begin to worry about him.

At the same time, a dangerous new enemy appears. A man named Ivan Vanko, whose father worked with Tony's father, blames the Stark family for his troubles. He builds powerful whips made of energy and attacks Tony during a car race. This villain, called Whiplash, teams up with Tony's business rival, Justin Hammer. Together, they plan to destroy Iron Man's reputation.

Meanwhile, Tony's friend, James Rhodes, is worried about Tony's behavior. Eventually, Rhodes takes one of Tony's suits and becomes War Machine. At first, they fight each other, but soon they become a team. Additionally, a new S.H.I.E.L.D. agent named Black Widow arrives to help Tony. In the end, all these characters come together for a big battle. Iron Man and War Machine fight against an army of robots controlled by Whiplash and Hammer. Finally, Tony wins the fight and also discovers a new element that cures his poisoning. The movie ends with Tony Stark back in control and ready for new adventures as Iron Man.
