Storyline: Alien³ begins right after the last movie. Ripley's spaceship crashes onto a distant planet. This planet is a prison for dangerous men. Unfortunately, her young friend Newt does not survive the crash.

Soon after arriving, Ripley makes a terrible discovery. An alien creature was on her ship. Furthermore, it has infected a dog in the prison. Consequently, a new and faster alien is born.

The prisoners initially do not believe Ripley. However, the alien soon starts killing people. Therefore, Ripley must convince the prisoners to help her. They decide to work together to hunt the creature.

Meanwhile, Ripley learns something even more frightening. She herself is carrying an alien queen inside her. The Weyland-Yutani Company knows this. So, they send a team to capture her and the alien.

Ripley knows she cannot let the company get the alien. Otherwise, they will create more monsters. Consequently, she makes a final, desperate plan with the prisoners.

First, they lure the running alien into a lead-works factory. Then, they use molten metal to trap and kill it. Meanwhile, the company's team arrives and tries to take Ripley.

In the end, Ripley chooses to sacrifice herself. She jumps into a giant furnace of molten lead. This kills both her and the alien queen inside her. Finally, she wins by destroying the last alien and preventing the company from creating more.
