Storyline: Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol begins with Ethan Hunt in a Russian prison. His team breaks him out because they need his help for a mission. Their job is to stop a man named Cobalt from starting a nuclear war.

First, they go to the Kremlin in Moscow. However, Cobalt is one step ahead of them. He bombs the Kremlin and makes it look like Ethan's team did it. Consequently, the American government shuts down the entire IMF agency. This is called "Ghost Protocol."

Now, Ethan and his team are completely on their own. They have no support and no official help. Therefore, they must work together to clear their names and stop Cobalt.

Next, they follow Cobalt to Dubai. There, Ethan must climb the outside of the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, to get important information. Meanwhile, his team members work inside the building.

After they get the information, they chase Cobalt through a huge sandstorm. Then, they follow him to a final battle in Mumbai. There, Cobalt plans to launch a nuclear missile at the United States.

The team rushes to stop him. They fight Cobalt's soldiers and manage to disable the missile just in time. In the end, they save the world and prove that the IMF is innocent. The government restores the IMF agency, and Ethan's team becomes heroes.
