Storyline: Mission: Impossible III begins with Ethan Hunt now retired from fieldwork. He is training new agents and planning his wedding. However, his peaceful life suddenly ends when one of his trainees is captured by a dangerous arms dealer named Owen Davian.

Therefore, Ethan must return to action for a rescue mission. First, he assembles his old team. Then, they successfully save the agent from a factory in Berlin. But afterward, they learn that Davian is searching for a terrible weapon called the Rabbit's Foot.

Consequently, Ethan's team tracks Davian to the Vatican. They manage to capture him there. However, this victory does not last long. Davian quickly escapes and gets his revenge. He personally kidnaps Ethan's new wife, Julia.

Now, the mission becomes very personal for Ethan. Davian gives him a harsh choice: he must deliver the Rabbit's Foot, or Julia will be killed. So, Ethan is forced to steal the dangerous weapon from a heavily guarded facility in Shanghai.

After a thrilling chase across the city's skyscrapers, Ethan gets the weapon. He then races to a final meeting place on a bridge. There, he outsmarts Davian and saves his wife. In the end, Ethan defeats the villain and destroys the Rabbit's Foot. He and Julia are finally safe, and he realizes he cannot escape his life as a secret agent.
